Two cookies, both ours
Kureos Learning sets two cookies and keeps three small notes in your browser's local storage. All five are listed below with what they hold. None is used for advertising or tracking, none is shared with anyone, and none is set by another company.
Why there is no cookie banner
The law (the ePrivacy Directive, Article 5(3), and in Sweden the Electronic Communications Act, 9 kap. 28 §) asks for your consent before a site stores or reads anything on your device, unless it is strictly necessary for a service you asked for.
The session cookie is strictly necessary: without it you could not stay signed in. The other four only remember things you did yourself (that you have signed in before, your address on the sign-in form, that you have read the note before the film, your sound setting), so the site works the way you left it. They hold nothing about you that the site sends anywhere.
Visits are counted on our servers without any cookie (see the privacy policy). The video player is set to use no cookies.
Clearing them
Signing out deletes the session cookie. Your browser's settings clear the rest at any time; the site keeps working, and simply forgets your preferences.
